Dr. Darshit Shah, Orthodontist

Dr. Shah, our Orthodontist, is a native of India. By the time he was in high school, he realized that Orthodontics was his calling in life. Based on his merits, he was able to enter dental school straight from high school. His desire to practice Orthodontics at the highest level led him to move to USA. After completing dental school at Boston University, he was finally able to pursue his long-time dream of becoming an Orthodontist by entering Saint Louis University – the only active Orthodontic school established by the father of Orthodontics himself. Family brings him to Texas and he finally feels at home here. When not at work, you can either find him yelling at the TV while supporting his soccer team, Manchester United, or walking the riverwalk with his girlfriend and dog. Patients describe Dr. Shah as a fun, dedicated, detail oriented person with an eagerness to learn. He looks forward to giving you the smile that you’ve always wanted!

Dr. Emily Parell

Dr. Emily Parell attended Southwestern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree. Dr. Parell chose to study dentistry because of her interest in medicine combined with her desire to help people. She loves building relationships with people within the community as well as improving oral healthcare to create beautiful smiles! Dr. Parell is looking forward to exploring the hiking trails/food scene in her community. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Will, their son Zachary, and their 5 dogs!

Dr. Michelle Cosme

It is my pleasure to be a part of the fabulous team at Crescent Dental & Orthodontics! As a dentist, my goal is to provide exceptional patient-focused care so that I can help my patients achieve and preserve their best smiles. To do this, I am an advocate of preventative care which is patient-focused to provide treatment that addresses your unique concerns. I received my Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of St. Thomas in my hometown of Houston, TX. I completed my training in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas. I am always interested in the latest techniques and technologies to make modern dentistry a more comfortable experience. I enjoy practicing all aspects of general dentistry, whether it be to improve aesthetics, to reclaim function or to provide relief of pain for patients of all ages. I am committed to continuing education to further enhance my skills. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy traveling, concerts, cooking, spending time with friends, family, and my 3 cats, Milo, Soka, and Leydi.
